I am not looking to decorate; I am looking for presence.

Paola Milán is a visual artist whose practice explores color, gesture, movement and presence. After more than a decade in graphic design, she returned fully to painting, developing an intuitive and physical approach in which control and spontaneity coexist.

See it on your wall

Upload a photo of your room. AI reads the wall, its perspective, light and proportions, suggests the paintings that belong there and hangs them at their true size.

Prefer to choose yourself? Drag any painting onto the wall and move it until it feels right.

Try it with your room

My practice begins with the physical act of painting.

I am interested in the tension between force and restraint, movement and stillness, control and the unexpected. Layers, marks, accidents and pauses become part of the work.

Workshops for children and adults

Painting workshops for children and adults, where color is something you feel with your whole body.

Each session borrows an idea from one of my series, so you work the way an artist works: by exploring a question with your hands.

Commissions

A commissioned painting is an opportunity to create a new work in dialogue with a person, a space, or a particular moment.

Each commission develops within my existing practice. Rather than reproducing a specific image or working from a predetermined palette, I create a new work that stays true to the language, gestures, textures, and energy that define my painting.

How a commission works
