This work is part of my earliest commissioned projects and represents a key moment in the beginning of my artistic journey. Tejidos indígenas is a large-scale diptych, composed of two canvases measuring 100 x 150 cm each, conceived as a single piece. The work is inspired by traditional Latin American textiles, reinterpreting their patterns, rhythms, and rich color palettes through a contemporary lens. Through a vibrant and deeply colorful composition, I sought to evoke the identity, memory, and cultural strength embedded in these artisanal traditions. This project, developed from an initial paper sketch and later produced at a large scale, was also a key exercise in my creative process. Through it, I realized that I am more drawn to an organic and intuitive way of creating, rather than rigid or predefined approaches. It was one of my first professional commissions, marking the beginning of a path in which the dialogue between culture, texture, and color became a fundamental axis of my work.
