Workshops for children and adults
Painting workshops for children and adults, where color is something you feel with your whole body.
In my workshops we paint the way I like to paint: standing up, with big gestures, real materials, and no fear of mistakes. We don’t copy a model. We listen to color, follow the movement of the arm, and see what appears.
Every session borrows an idea from one of my own series, so you work the way an artist works: by exploring a question with your hands. Children play their way into it; adults go further into process, layers and intention.
A cycle in four sessions
Each session starts from one of my series. Everyone leaves with their own painting, and a few new ways of looking.

Session 2
Dots
Everything starts with a dot. With fingers, sponges and brush tips we build rhythm and pattern, one mark at a time.

Session 4
Gesture
Diluted color on wet paper. We let stains travel and meet, then decide together what the painting wants to become.

Ways to join
- For children
- Weekend workshops in small groups for ages 6 to 12, in the studio in Madrid. All materials and aprons are provided.
- For adults
- Evening and weekend workshops for any level, including people who have never painted. A slower pace, more time for process, and a painting to take home.
- Private lessons
- One-to-one for adults or children, or small groups of family and friends, at a pace that follows you.
- Groups and celebrations
- Sessions designed for schools, companies, cultural centers and birthdays, in the studio or at your space.
